Restricted access to WSJ articles online

The Wallstreet Journal restricts access to articles, that are visibly marked with a key. The title as well as the first few sentences of the article are visible and are then fading to white that finally leads to a gray bar that encourages it's readers to subscribe to the newspaper, or to login to their account to be able to read the full article. Whilst this problematic approach of the prestigious newspaper is understandable, the restriction of the most current articles, discourages visitors to read the paper.

Restricted access to WSJ articles online

Luckily, the solution to this issue is very simple, albeit laborious, if more than a few articles want to be read. A reader only needs to copy the title of the article and produce a simple search-engine search with it to gain complete access to the article. No bar, with the encouragement to subscribe or login are visible. However, all subsequent articles have to be accessed in this method, which gets time consuming if the Wallstreet Journal is an individual's preferred newspaper.
