Correcting XML code

During my internship, I had to make a Wiki for the company Thales Alenia Space which is producing satellites. I had for example to code in XML but the amount of code lines was tremendous. The problem that I faced was that it was really difficult to detect errors in the code. A solution was to copy and past the code on the following spellchecker website: http://validator.aborla.net/

I dislike the problem description as it does not really tell too much about the problem, but I understand that you cannot or dont want to go into detail of company relevant code. I also cannot relate to the solution so much, maybe I don't understand it well but you solved the problem with this validator after all.

Same as the colleague above, I don't understand what the exact problem was. However you offered a general solution which can be used when having various programming issues, which definitely is a plus!

Which errors were you getting during your development? That is an important part of the solution - precisely identifying errors. Nevertheless, thank you for the solution (in case I need it some day).
