The solution to this problem is dependent on the extension that is used to block advertisements. As I am personally using the Chrome extension uBlock Origin 1.10.0, the solution can be achieved in the following way:
In uBlock origin's settings in the tab "3rd-party-filters" first click the Update now button. Afterwards, the check-box for "Anti-Adblock Killer | Reek" can be checked. Selecting it leads to the subscription to a filter list. This particular one is a userscript. Websites should now not detect the use of AdBlocks, and the unrestricted use of the website is now possible.
