Copy text without formatting from PDF or other Rich Text source

I want to copy a text from a Rich Text source (like PDF, Word document, Notes taking app, etc), but without the formatting, so I can copy-paste like normal text.
Most of the time when I copy text from PDF, it is copied with a lot if new lines, but I want to just make a list of technologies or quotes to use in my articles/documents. What is nice and quick way to copy formatted and paste as unformatted text, when there is no such option in the context menu?

This one is the BEST answer!

A well tested solution is to paste the text into the address bar of your web browser and it will remove the formatting, so you can then directly copy and paste it into your document.
Currently the most popular web browsers remove the formatting for internal use and appealing UI.

Interesting solution. Well, until now in order to remove the formatting, I was copying from PDF (for example) to Word Document, I have been using the Word Document option "Keep the text only". Your solution removes any type of formatting, new lines, etc. Thank you for sharing.

I have used this solution for years as well. For short snippets of text it is very useful indeed and much faster than other possible solutions!

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I did not know this method and that I've been using it since you presented it. Although it is a kind of work- around, it actually saved me a lot of time. Thank you very much!
