Want to watch a video in the internet – This video is not available in your country

Sometimes you want to watch some videos and get the error message “This video is not available in your country”. This is because you are connect with the internet in some country, but the video is only available in other countries.

One possible way to get around the error is to use a VPN. If you use a VPN, there is no longer a direct connection to the website server. Your pc first connects to a VPN server. This server forward all data to the website server. The website operator therefore only sees the IP address of the VPN server. So you have to connect to a VPN server in the country where you want to watch your video and then you solved the problem.

A very good solution for the problems of that kind. I am also using this way, VPN connection, to get access to some internet resources that are not available because of your location. For example there are some learning materials such as videos of lecture that you may watch only in the university local network. To do that from outside you may use your university VPN access point

For simplicity in this case I like to use a vpn browser add-on. They usually work regardless of the operating system, and can simply be activated or deactivated.
