Change Joomla Footer Copyright Message

Joomla is a content management system for wbsites. It comes with a preset template and sometimes it is hard to find haw certain things can be customized. For example, whenever you create a new website there will be a copyright message in the footer saying something like Joomla (C) 2015 and providing a link to the imprint. Of course it would be nicer to have your own copyright information and link there instead of Joomla's. The challange is how to change that.
