How can I add a tag on the contents others users?

For example, I want create a new tag. But I don't see a field in which I can put it. I see only button "save". I made a printscreen.

Browsing on mobile phones

Browsing with your phone is not always as pleasant as using your computer. Sometimes clicking a button or selecting something from a list is not understood by the phone or require a lot of time to be processed or understood. For example when using a smart phone for reading an online comic, manga or book online, sometimes changing the chapter too fast will lead to a crash. are there tricks for fast browsing ?

Executing an action or a set of actions on files.

Sometimes, you want to execute specific commands on a set of files, or manipulate some files with the same commands. Eg: - rename all files in a directory with a specific filename scheme. - extract id tags information from mp3s etc.

Share files in a Linux Network

Sometimes you want to share files in linux via network. Windows has the file sharing mechanism since Windows 98 or so. Whats there on Linux.

Password Recovery of a Windows System (up to winXP)

1) Download the software BART-PE. With it, you can create a so-called Preinstalled Envrionment. 1a) optionally download a created Image via torrent (Isohunt). But be aware, this may be illegal in some countries. 2) Boot the cd on the Machine, where you forgot the pw. 3) After BartPE has started, press Go. 4) In Programs, select Password Renew -> select target. 5) Select the windows Partition. 6) Enter new password 7) Reboot.

Anti Web-blocking

Many countries around the world like China or Iran do not provide freedom of Internet browsing. YouTube or news providing websites may be blocked by a government. In some cases like in Tunisia of before the revolution, even links to proxies are blocked. So how is it possible to get pass the walls of web-blocking ?

Remote access to workstation

Sometimes I am at the university and I need some files I got on my workstation at home or I need to run some software I do not have installed on my laptop. Therefore I would like to have a tool or a collection of tools to turn on my workstation remotely if it is switched off and to interact with it. I want to be able to access all files on it and transfer them to my laptop if needed or copy data from my laptop But sometimes it is also necessary to start a program on the workstation.

Password recovery

Last summer I got a bit paranoid and created a very strong password for my laptop. I used a random generator to create an extremely strong password and for safety reasons I did not write it down. After a few weeks of vacation I forgot of course the password. I could have reinstalled the operating system but I was not in the mood to search for and reinstall all the software that I had on my laptop. I just wanted to have full access again to do some updates. The laptop did not have any other operating system installed.

Survey

In another lecture we needed to write a business plan. A core aspect of this was to estimate the size the potential market for our product. So we needed a tool to conduct an online survey but we were not willing to spend any money on it. We could use the resources of the university. The survey tool should allow us to create a survey and test it first. Then we wanted to be able to adapt the survey to the feedback we got. The user interface should be easy to use, both for the people who create the survey and those who answer it.
